Yes, I wondered about the reason.
He is obviously inflaming and signaling to the type of people who were standing there and brandishing the gun. Nice house, white, gun = identity. He got a trifecta and even the poor white gun lust-fors can relate.
So, people of that type will identify with that and "know" that Predator Grump supports them and "fear" that this situation could happen to them and so, vote for the idiot. That might be the point of tweeting it.
Believe it or not, he may have an actual, underlying strategy. That viscous, vindictive, plotting weasel always seem to think along those lines.
