10. People don't realize how truly weird that whole weekend was to those of us who lived through it

Suddenly we learn Kennedy has been shot.

Then with no time to process the information a somber voice announces 'The president has died.'

Then we watch LBJ and government people crammed into a plane going back to DC while LBJ is sworn in as the new president.

Then there are the views of Kennedy's body going to DC

Then WHAM out of the blue OSWALD IS SHOT

He was in police custody, for crying out loud!!! How was that even possible!!,

Well, no trial. No defence lawyers questioning evidence.

Then the funeral, the horse drawn carriages, the slow beat of the drums

I couldn't imagine that weekend would ever end.

Very hard to believe any explation is sufficient. A totally traumatizing, incredible event
