11. I likely won't be discussing politics much with my family

If my mom is undecided she'll ask my opinion, and I'll give my best pitch. But outside of that, discussing politics with my family has usually been a frustrating proposition at best.

Although, oddly enough, I think there is a chance my father, who has probably never voted for a democrat in his life (particularly in a presidential race) will not vote for Mitt. I think he might distrust Mitt's connections to the church, being (a) generally distrustful of Big Religion in politics and (b) specifically resentful of LDS influence in politics and social circles having lived "behind the Zion Curtain" in southern Utah for several years. I doubt we'll talk politics, because are views are opposed and entrenched, but I am a bit curious about his stance on Mitt's candidacy.
