I think he’s at that stage where many dictators have been before him where he’s decided to destroy everything before he leaves. Where he will make even his base suffer as much as possible because in his mind they don’t fight for him enough. His biggest demand has always been what he alone defines loyalty to him to be. Being the egomaniacal Malignant Narcissist that he is he is full heartedly implementing his own brand of a scorched earth legacy.
If he had his way, which I think he’s trying very hard to have, this country would be destroyed. He’s having a tantrum right now, destroying everything. Everything.
In his twisted mind no one, including his base, deserve him because he is too good a leader and we are too stupid to deserve him. So he must destroy everything. He wants to leave a Trump created dystopia which will maximize our suffering and minimize our ability to recover and have a decent life. And he wants us to know it’s him who destroyed us.
He is stupid. Not innocently stupid though. He’s vengefully stupid. He is going to punish us all by destroying our lives.
