6. This situation is even more nuanced than online v. not as to foreign students

Most foreign students are only permitted to take a certain number of online classes AND are also required to maintain a minimum number of credits. So in a school that is offering some classes online and others in person, a student can lose their vsia either by having already met or exceeded the number of hours OR by failing to maintain the required number of credit hours.

We wrestle with this (and occasionally our part time curriculum is driven by) what is needed for foreign students to be able to remain in the country (since we specifically seek students licensed to practice law in their own country who want a JD in the US to be able to sit for a US license to practice law)
