Romney and Stevens bailed on their speech writing team just prior to the RNC convention and decided to wing it for Romney's address. And chose not to vet or at least review Eastwood's speech.

"If somebody is dumb enough to ask me to go to political convention and say something, they're gonna have to take what they get," said Eastwood...

Leadership? Yeah, failed leadership.
