(11,996 posts)15. Ok - armed people were protecting a barricade they put up and shot an 8yr old over it? WTF?!?
The driver was attempting to enter a parking lot at 1238 Pryor Road where a group of individuals illegally placed barricades. Someone in the group opened fire on the vehicle, according to police, striking Turner.
"Members of the community" murder a little girl for trying to enter a parking lot with her mom.

Scum bags.
Later Sunday night the Atlanta Police Department said another man was killed and two other victims were injured during an exchange of gunfire just two doors down from the scene of Brooks' death.
Hope the community response gets these murderers.
That same night, 11-year-old Davon McNeal was at an anti-violence cookout in Washington, D.C., when bullets struck him. In Chicago, 7-year-old Natalia Wallace was outside her family's house during a holiday gathering as the shooting began. Both children were killed.

I get that. Though a TINY fraction compared to violent crime deaths, its a problem that matters.

"Armed barricade keepers" is all we can really tell from sparse reporting. Protestors involved...

Seems like it was "protestors" - at least was "members of the community" according to mayor.

Why? Because inner city violence is something new?? Don't think trumps help is needed, really.

That's what a question mark is for - ask a question. I know the answers so may be rhetorical.
