I can say that I have never been contacted by any Russian. It's purely personal - the foggy glasses, the sweat running down inside the mask, the inability to breathe, talking with it in my mouth, talking with the Kleenex I put in it to avoid glasses fog in my mouth, trying to go down steps while looking through the reading part of my lens without killing myself, the general inability to see... Oh, but don't worry, I do wear it when I absolutely have to despite the lack of any evidence of efficacy. It avoids attacks by Karens when I'm in a store.
