tracking polls do fluctuate so if you live by them you probably are going to get anxiety from time to time.

Here is Gallup Tracking Results from Sept 1-25 2008:

Gallup Daily: Race Back to a Tie at 46% Each
McCain now on equal footing with Obama
PRINCETON, NJ -- John McCain has gained ground and is now tied with Barack Obama among registered voters in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update for Sept. 22-24, with each candidate getting 46% support.
