12. I've particularly enjoyed Hal Colebatch's stories set in the Niven "Known Space" universe...

Niven's universe is interesting and Colebatch is a perceptive and moving author..

"Telepath's Dance" and "The Corporal in the Caves" are both spectacularly good..
