In my case, I burst into tears during random moments. Picture that...a big bearded burly guy starts crying for no apparent reason.
I have in-laws in San Antonio, so I know of which you speak.
Don't be afraid of your emotions. Don't judge yourself. You are doing the best you can, and that is all any of us can do.
Stand up to stupidity, but never put yourself in danger. Pick your battles.
Help those who need it.
Voice your opinion with confidence.
Understand that this will be a long haul. Understand that your intelligence will get you through this.
Understand that when we all come through the other side of this, you will have gone through a battle and you will have become a stronger person for doing so.
You will be alright. This situation will go through many changes before it resolves, but just continue to be smart. Protect yourself at all times.
Drink a lot of water.
Concentrate on good memories.
Move your body as much as you are able.
Trim your bills of anything that is not absolutely necessary.
We are going to make it.
