his church to make sure he gets into heaven. Tithing. I bet his so-called philanthropy is 100% to the Mormon church. That's a valid charitable deduction, for sure. But not what most people think of when they think of philanthropy.

His tithing goes to build huge tabernacles, funding Mormon missions overseas to convert people, etc.
