39. What an awful reality presented in the two up thread examples.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be getting sicker each day when the grim realization dawns on them that they might (and eventually will) die because they didn't accept the truth and take preventative steps to avoid it.

IMO, a pre-death awareness that personal hubris really does kill would be a terrible thing to take to the grave.

Knowing that one may get sick and die from the virus even after doing all you can to avoid it is the camp I place myself in.
