(3,056 posts)Possibly generations. Undoing the damage is going to be Biden's biggest challenge. I've supported him from the beginning, but the fact he's willing to take on the clusterfuck that Trump has created in less than 3 years makes me admire him even more.
We've proven that regardless of how intelligent, caring, and rational our current President is, we're never more than 4 years away from putting a stupid lunatic in charge. And with the right "supporting" players, even our Constitutional checks and balances don't work. A lot of us have friends and family members who voted for him come to the light and realize their mistake. We have to keep reminding them that he couldn't have done any of the damage he did without a compliant Congress, and that voting to keep Republicans in charge of ANY branch of government will stop any and all progress. Never forget what they did to Obama. We can't expect Joe to get anything done if we don't take back the Senate, and keep the House. We also need to take a look at all of the unqualified people Moscow Mitch rammed through as judges...not sure if anything can be done about them, but we need to check it out.
