Neither side should want that, but it seems the rethugs do. They've reveling in this chaos...they love the idea of an authoritarian as long as he comes from their side of the aisle.

I really am counting on a normalized Justice Department to take on this mess. I'm torn between Kamala Harris as VP or as AG. II think she'd be a huge boost on the ticket (she'd eat Pence alive in a debate), but she'd also be a damn pit bull as AG. But, since we're Democrats, and blessed with an embarrassment of riches when it comes to qualified people, we always have Adam Schiff in line for AG. That would be fun to watch, too.
