... the libertarian meme that you are a useless victim if you don't pay income tax is laughable.

Plenty of billionaires don't pay income tax.

The 47% statistic is intentionally misleading in that it includes children, the elderly, military personnel, the disabled and others who would not reasonably be expected to pay income tax.

People who buy into this mindset better think long and hard about how hypocritical they will feel some day.
