What % of Americans suck?

15. I think 1/3 really suck, 1/3 really shines, 1/3 do neither, but

they could lean towards and embrace one side if encouraged or directed by family, friends, zeitgeist, events, or faux news.

Pacifist that I am, I was telling myself earlier that I don't wish death or suffering on cult 45; but part of me believes they deserve to suffer and die because they are stupid, wicked, evil, and detriments to polite and civilized society. Then I wondered how many people would need to go. Not that I'd wish that for them. Lol

Your post was timely for me. I have a background in statistics, and know that if you've got 2 variables, like heads/tails, your best guess is 50/50.

The choice of suck/don't suck is 50/50 odds.
But the choice of suck/shine/neither gives us 33.3% odds.

So I think 1/3 suck, always or often, spreading division and hate.
And 1/3 shine, always or often, spreading light and love.
And 1/3 are neither, but can be influenced and encouraged to go either way.

I want to believe that this last third will most likely not suck and will vote for Biden or stay home.
45's base has run at around 35%, just a bit more than a third. They're the ones that really suck.

We've seen ads against rump from several republican groups. My premise: repugs suck, but some have realized they don't want to be associated with the cult that sucks and sucks up so much more. They are part of the neither group, motivated to move away from the really sucky group, but capable of sucking in the future.
