6. I disagree with your point on making money

They are a business and their only goal is to make money. The fewer that watch their infotainment channels the better.

I do agree with your assessment that they are going to try to keep the presidential horse race narrative forefront and make it as close as possible. That keeps eyeballs on their screen and helps maintain ad revenue.

The best answer is to tune them out and get your information from a variety of sources curating your own news.
