But individuals making ridiculous gobs of money and demanding ever more are different from the corporate publically traded model. The corporation does not represent people as much as it does an amoral, heartless, mathematical formula that is fixed in it's concern to only maximize quarterly return on rate of investment at any cost.
That said there clearly are many, many members of the 1% that have an illness regarding money.
