The Supreme Court in the 1970's ruled that preventative detention is illegal so what Wolf is saying is clearly wrong. Also, the charter of the DHS does not permit the activity we are seeing. Tom Ridge, first Sec of DHS: “The (DHS) department was established to protect America from the ever-present threat of global terrorism. It was not established to be the president’s personal militia.”. So what we are seeing is another case of deflection because none of this can stand. Trump is just riling up his law & ORDER base and it has the benefit of deflecting away from the disaster called COVID-45, er 19.

What the "moms" in Portland are doing is quite effective so keep it up. Their numbers have swelled about 4-fold since the jack-booted thugs showed up so keep up that pressure. Naked Athena stopped them in their tracks too - but I am not advocating that. Just an example that other things work too.

I'm more for stay the course rather than abandon what is currently going on.
