Urban or rural setting?

Wonder why son didn’t lock all the doors, close all windows and let the gang break in while he was calling the police about a house breaking. Plus, maybe a camera system (sort of like Ring) that automatically records (and shares with other users of Ring) activities taking place at your home.

The police usually respond quite quickly when your son calls (and identifies as many of the offenders as he can) that a group of people are breaking into his house and threatening his life. The physical evidence of the break-in will be enough... of course, hindsight.

The sad thing about growing up is that once you hook up with thugs - it is hell to get away from them.

Best of luck (and might want to consider a change of location for your son).
