7. I'll have to give it another spin sometime ...

I got it when I came out and I think I listened to it once and then sold it to the used record store a month later.

I remember it being really long, really heavy-handed and preachy, and virtually devoid of anything resembling 'hooks'.

Maybe I'd have a different perspective nowadays. And maybe it takes more than 1 listen to appreciate. Certainly wouldn't be the first time

Hell I thought R.E.M. Murmur was 'okay' the first time I heard it. About 1000 spins later it's one of my all-time favorites.
