It is just another one of those "alternate facts." Truth is variable and is subject to change as circumstances demand.

DeSantis could declare a state wide mask program if he wanted to reduce the spread, but, at this point, it would mean that he had to admit error by not doing it sooner. DeSantis tries to save face by allowing people to die. That is Republican leadership in action.
