I'm really interested to see polls that will have been conducted post Trump's new 'tone' to see how many people bought it. My guess is that enough people did that it will be enough to move the needle.

What scares me the most is that if he keeps this charade up long enough the polls will tighten earlier than they ordinarily would - the only question is whether he can keep it up.
