Fox apparently has not let this go. I have a SIL who will not stop watching Fox and on a family call last week she was bleating on about hydroxychloroquine and how unfair it is people can't easily get it. I gently asked, "You've heard about how it was killing people, haven't you? People with heart problems were especially susceptible to poor outcomes." Oh, she went off. Not only would she not acknowledge it wasn't necessarily safe or effective, she got angry that I wasn't in line with her way of thinking.
When you stay away from politics, she is a warm, lovely, intelligent person. Fox has warped her thinking - she will parrot the list of talking points louder and louder until you leave off disagreements, not matter how minor or gently phrased. It's so frustrating and sad. That channel warps people's brains. It's killing people.
Now it seems when trump can't get his pet garbage on Fox or Sinclair, he'll send a lackey like Rudy or Jr. to post things over and over online. He spent millions of taxpayer dollars on that drug, hoping to score big. He wants his grift, even if more people have to die for it. I'm glad Twitter called Jr. on the BS, but it would be better for everybody if they just banned the lot of them.
