(8,926 posts)65. They already gave me $1200, because I'm retired and my income falls below their level.
So, if they send me another $1200, I have several candidates in mind for the money, since my living expenses are budgeted out until the end of the year. This is not so for the small businesses in my village & town And I used to take myself out to lunch several times a week, and now I do the same, except I eat in. I do tip more now, because who knows what awful rents my restaurants are paying, and for sure the wait staff must have been hurting. If I were Mitch McConnell, this country would be a whole different ballgame.
