3. When I first saw the tape

I thought I was watching a much younger Mitt. His voice and speech rhythms were smooth and genuine sounding. He laughed and jeered and spoke the unspeakable very casually. Then I realized I was watching this present-day predator in his natural environment whereas in public he can be likened to that animal in a cage on display--agitated, unsure, and uncomfortable.

I was shocked by the complete and utter other Mitt Romney I saw. Not the Public Automaton but the evil, sadistic manipulator among his like-minded supporters.
