over a local Affordable Housing. I did not I know it was an Obama area rule.

A very large apartment complex has gone up near me. My main issue was traffic. A traffic study was not done before the unit was built. It's on a busy road that already has traffic problems.

The former city councilman pushed the project through.

There were also plans to build affordable housing in a flood plain. Yes a flood plain. This area is basically a creek bed. Fortunately the project was scrapped.

The companies who build the housing are shady. They are private ventures who get the money upfront for construction and then abandon the units, leaving them in disrepair. I think my local Democratic insider was mostly mad about the contracts and companies involved. Of course only a shady company would want to build housing in a creek bed.

I think I will ask her more about this. She's been involved with local issues for years. She could tell me if the units are part of an Obama era rule. She had always blamed our former councilman because she worked in his office. She is a staunch Democrat.
