2. This actually happened to my husband

We were vacationing in Costa Rica when he had an accident that landed him in ICU
For nearly 10 weeks. When he was finally off sedation and extubated he had ICU
psychosis. He did not understand why I was always wearing a mask. Or why visiting
Hours were severely restricted, (although I could see him for 4 hours a day) A different culture,
And language we could somewhat bungle through. He did not believe me, became paranoid
Until We watched a few days of CNN , the only English Channel we could get. I kept telling
Him it’s here, the revolution you have dreamed of for 40 years. I pleaded with him to stay. It was too much. He passed at the end of April in San Jose. Everything had shut down around me and then he was gone.
