My bff’s son, who I’ve written here about a few times, was stricken with Covid and it ravaged him but he survived.

He was intubated, on dialysis, a feeding tube .... now he’s on a walker; tires easily with just a few steps; and has a severe bedsore and a very long way back to anything near his former life.

It was touch-and-go as to him coming back at all. His aunt was looking into funeral arrangements at one point.

I attribute the many prayers and well wishes — including those expressed here at DU which were conveyed to him — to his return home.
