Twitter: anti-Trump Republicans have an easier time grasping ways he might subvert the election [View all]

Text:

Stuart Stevens: Trump can’t cancel an election? Ummm. Ponder this: Trump orders DHS to impound ballots in Dade County on Nov. 1 after “reports” of “irregularities.” Who stops them? Courts order return. But ballots now declared invalid. Chaos. Florida re-vote?What would Barr do? Republicans?

Norm Ornstein: We need to be aware of, and publicize widely, the possibility that Barr will try to seize mail ballots on Election Eve in key states across the country, claiming irregularities. Barr would not hesitate to steal the election.

Leah McElrath: Stuart, the anti-Trump Republicans seem to have such an easier time grasping the various ways he might subvert the process.

It’s very frustrating to have so many Dems and “experts” give over-much weight to what is and isn’t legal when Trump doesn’t care about the law.

Are we worrying too much about this? Or not enough?
