5. This is a fine commentary, but I dislike it as an obituary.

I certainly understand why people would be angry and bitter, and would blame those who have been shrugging off the virus while happily spreading it. This makes a strong statement and I would admire it as a guest editorial in the form of a mock obituary, but not as the actual and only obit for a man who has lived on this earth for 80 years.

I'm sure he was so much more than just how he died. I recently wrote my father's obituary and was very proud of how it painted a verbal portrait of the man. It felt like a tribute to my dad and all he did in his life. So this one just struck me as disrespectful to the man who died.

It just seems like Trump and his idiots 'win' when we have no identity or value other than being his victims.
