Very little blowback from gun nuts about NY AG's action against NRA

4. I don't know about that but they don't seem to have much luv for the NRA leadership

I go there from time to time and most are against bans on military style guns, restrictions on magazine capacity, waiting periods and such.

The good news is is that it's hard to find anyone over there viourasly defending the NRA.

Here's some more comments in a thread over there about saving the NRA:
