(9,545 posts)46. I supported Liz. She should not be the VP pick.
Three strikes against her:
1) She would be replaced in the Senate by a Republican governor.
2) The kind of causes she advances would be best served by her building support in the Senate
3) At this moment in history, an all-white democratic ticket would be political malpractice.
I'd add that I don't think there is anything to be gained politically by appointing her. The "Progressives" who would consider not supporting Biden won't generally be won over by Warren. They want Bernie and ONLY Bernie and they consider Liz a "Snake in the grass."
