I don't understand the point of using something to replace wax, when it's potentially orders of magnitude more health averse.
Waxes are just large chain alkanes. No attackable sites, resistant to breakdown by stomach acids and enzymes, essentially tasteless, and cheap.
PFAS might he slightly more effective on oils, but not enough to even consider the additional health risks!
Like I said, just stupid!
BTW: when school was still in session I was working a school near a BK. I went there a few times for lunch & got the Impossible Burger. No meat! I really liked it. Tasted just like a normal Whopper, to me. A bit fewer calories, too.
