I visited with my Mormon side of the family in Utah and Idaho. They were very proud to say that "you only see white faces here"! If you read the Book of Mormons and their history, you will find all the answers that the Mormons won't be truthful and/or tell you about! They feel that if you are American Indian and you join them, your skin will turn lighter and then you are in their favor because they are curing you of the Curse and Mark of Cain, which they believe caused dark skin. The Bible does not say what the "Mark of Cain" looked like. Please read the Book of Mormons and history, then read The Bible. The Mormons also believe that as you work up in the Mormon Church, you become Gods and Goddesses. While I was with 25 Mormons, (four generations), they were the most haughty, disrespectful and against all dark races. They expressed "hate" towards anyone who weren't mormon. I ended up being a target, even though I'm blood related (but my skin is naturally dark and I'm not Mormon) I've been reading The Book of Mormons, they allow lies, misbeliefs, wrongful statements towards anyone or anything, because they are backed up and purified by their belief. Don't take the words out of a Mormon's mouth as their true belief because they try to hide it from all others. I was fooled for 50 years by their fake front, then I saw it first hand about a month ago. I was in shock! However, it certainly made me to do the smart thing and read directly from their Book of Mormons. However, be sure you go back to The Holy Bible to see what the Mormons have superseded it with. They continuously change and update the Book of Mormons to benefit and protect how they are perceived. My challenge to all of you is to go to the source and read up on their beliefs and history.
