I'm just saying that is one reason people want to get education back up and running. Here in NYC, it's a big discussion. I think schools are more important than bars. Bars are still shut. Should schools open?

I don't know the answer to that.

But if part of schools opening safely means that bars and other indoor venues that get over crowded have to remain shut to keep transmission of the virus below 1% in the city, I think that's a worthy tradeoff.

(But I wouldn't send my friends who teach or my kid into a school who had outdated ventilation systems in a place that did not wear masks. We are seeing what can be done with each individual school in the DOE here, let alone all the charters and private and parochial institutions throughout the city.)
