You want to know what is the absolute worst? And it happens every day, sometimes multiple times. The customer comes up to the counter wearing their mask, then pulls it down, and leans into the counter to tell me what they want. You know what I want? For them to put their mask back on!
And no, we're not allowed to tell them to wear it properly. This is Indiana, it's a miracle it's mandated at all. The best I can do is look alarmed and lean back. Almost 10% of the time they take the hint.

I think this is true of most states. The cities & college towns are blue to purple, other areas
