From a mixed bag of everything with a chunk of Cherokee (whew) to offset my pretentious French, my Stubborn German - and serves a nice balance to my african and Irish blood.

I love when I see pictures like this - my dad has quite a few from when he was little african american boy in Alabama in the 1940's - with the Grandmama and Ole' Ma (his great grandmother) in particular - in her traditional dress.

Some of us have AWESOME family pictures - just like this!
