Last time I saw a space shuttle, it was flying overhead at night, on its final approach to Florida. I watched it fly over then stood and marveled at the sky a bit before returning to the house. In that short period of time, the shuttle had screamed across the nation, landed, and was sitting on the ground cooling off!
