"Jolene" hooked me on Dolly Parton, too. That was my first exposure to her music. The evening jock on the FM rocker that all the hip kids listened to (KMET-FM) played it one night. It's a great song! And as our two young hosts noted - it's one of those story-telling songs that's seriously compelling. And I loved how they were bobbing along to the rhythm - just like I did whenever I heard it (and I was bobbing along all over again, just now, right along with them, as this video played)!
Looks like these are two more dudes whom Dolly melted. That list just keeps on growing ever larger...
