Unless it's a complete shit-show where there's mega-drama or massive technical issues, of course they're going to get praise. Every convention ever has.

And I don't want to hear Hatch Act. The Hatch Act is such a losing argument. I promise you Americans don't give two shits about the Hatch Act.
