They'll be in sturdy buildings on high ground, well away from the shoreline. They'll have plenty of water and ice and food and batteries, and you'll never hear anything about them because they'll be just fine.

There are always some pure fools who stay in their flimsy structures, in low-lying areas, and/or near the beaches, and some of them will die. Pointing out the bleeding obvious to them isn't going to change their minds.
