but not others is completely irrelevant to the matter of public safety.

Pelosi is a grown-up and a lawmaker. She has a responsibility to understand whehter what she is doing is (1) safe and (2) legal.

Would we excuse this behavior by Ivanka - or be troubled by the fact that it seems to be a setup? If not, we should not be excusing it for Pelosi.
