brought to Europe after WW II by American GIs that had youth on the other side if the Iron Curtain rejecting the communist values and harsh Russian culture imposed by the Soviet occupying forces. Elvis, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry opened eyes and minds with their exuberant outgoing music and the dancing and good feelings.
