19. I never understood

why the Christian evangelical community turned their backs to President Carter and embraced reagan's candidacy like he was the 2nd coming. President Carter is comfortable with his faith and sincere in his commitment to living by its principles.

I guess that was when the republicans and the evangelical community made a pact with their devil.
