Oh, you poor thing. You had a rough couple of days. I hope that your back is better.

I had a similar day on Friday. My car wouldn't start and I had to be at work. It finally started after much cajoling and prayers. I called the mechanic and was told to take it after work. It not only needed a new battery, but a starter too. The people they get their parts from didn't have the starter for my car. They would have to order it. That meant no car until at least Tuesday, if I was lucky. I told the mechanic that I would go to Auto Zone and see if they had it. I had better luck there. I bought the battery and the starter, took it back to the shop and two mechanics worked on fixing the car so that I would have it before they closed. Nice people, they only charged me $80 for labor, plus the $305 for the parts, after $385 I had a working car again.

As Shakespeare would have said, all's well that ends well.
