The GOP is void of grass roots except for Fox lemmings. If there was no Fox, there would not be nearly the number of crazy, extreme politicians infesting government.
The GOP is propped up by corporate money and a propaganda network. Thats it. The people that hold political office for Fox Lemmings are typically horrible at legislation.
It is most easily seen at the state level. Every once in awhile, one of them bubbles up to the national level and is quickly beat down for their craziness. This is why Mitt is the nominee. He was the last man standing. There is a reason why he was considered the most electable for them. The others were really, really bad. The common denominator is that they all tow the Fox line.
