27. They can expose it till the cows come home

The courts, the press, the FEC ... but it won't stop Trump and his minions from the trouble making and the attempts to delegitimatize. They've done it before, time and again. (Think of all the times the press has unveiled his lies, and it doesn't stop him from repeating them; think of the facts of impeachment, and the Republicans ignored them completely.) It could last for years, after he's left the White House.

The point is to create chaos, and I think you're dismissing how harmful chaos is to our ability to move forward and govern. Chaos and counterfactuals are the Russian strategy, and Trump loves it. The people will be voting for a "return to normalcy" in order to "build back better." That can't be done in the face of constant chaos and lies being circulated. Nothing short of cutting out his larynx and his tweeting fingers will stop him.
