80. Been in the South lately??

I hear the term used and sadly, it's often from relatives. We live in Florida but still have relatives in Mississippi and Alabama. Not all of them are senior citizens either. Some are in their 40s or younger.

Racism is alive and well. Many people control their language but if they get mad enough or aggravated about some perceived insult or if they listen to FOX all day, they will let it slip out. Wish I could say they are a dying breed. But I would not to telling the truth if I said that.
